Director: Social Policy

Are you a dynamic individual looking for an exciting role in an apex business organization? Are you a policy professional with an interest in the role of the private sector in social policy? Do you have a Minimum of a master’s degree in social sciences, law, or public policy, a minimum of 10 years of working experience (of which 5 years should be in a management role) in a socio-economic policy environment (including formulation, development, and implementation) and analysis of policy? We have an exciting role of Director: Social Policy for you.

The overall job purpose is to ensure that business interests are kept central to social policy development by actively participating, with members, in all processes and policy activities at Nedlac, and other structures, including direct bilateral interaction with the Government and other social partners. Execute the initiatives of the BUSA Standing Committee and Sub Committee on Education and Training, as well as any other relevant structures delegated by the CEO.
