| The African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) is the world’s largest free trade area in terms of participating countries, bringing together 55 countries with a combined GDP of $3.5 trillion and a potential market of 1.4 billion people. It aims to boost intra-Africa trade, enhance competitiveness to raise Africa’s trading position on the global market, promote industrial development and job creation.
To earnestly accelerate the implementation of the AfCFTA and activate trade and investments, the AfCFTA Secretariat, in collaboration with the Government of South Africa, is organising the AfCFTA Business Forum under the patronage of H.E. Cyril Ramaphosa.
