Road Transport Management Systems (RTMS) and various ISO standards promote safety and sustainability in the road transport sector. Certification to these standards is often a prerequisite for tenders and contracts as their value is being increasingly recognised by the corporate world. This workshop looks at how leading transport companies embrace these management systems as a key driver of their business sustainability. Leading researchers also discuss new innovative technologies being used to promote safety and sustainability in road transport operations.
